Event Photography Pricing

Referral Promotion: Here at Danilion Photography we are always looking to expand our Lion’s Pride and because of that we allot a reduced session price for referring a potential client on your next booking. Both the referral and the new referee will receive their session at the discounted rate. Ask the photographer about the referral promotion. 

DISCLAIMERS & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

A FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Payment - Until the client is set on a permanent date, the date will remain open. Once the date is decided the client will pay a non-refundable deposit (included in total fee) that will secure their date. All payments are to be made on the day of the session in cash. 

Cancellation - Should the client feel the need to cancel a session, they are allowed one emergency cancellation. All other cancellations should be given 48 hours prior to the session date and an additional deposit will need to be paid. If a cancellation is needed because of weather or emergency on behalf of the photographer, then no deposit is needed. 

Punctuality - Please be sure to be on time for your session. The session times are set with the best lighting and weather in mind. Because of this, please be aware of any insuring traffic that may be present in the surrounding area and make sure not to schedule any hair or makeup appointments too close to the session time. If you are thirty minutes late then you will be presumed a “no-show” and all your fees and deposits will be forfeited. 

Reschedules - Reschedules are subject to date availability of the photographer. Please keep in mind if you miss your session or if weather doesn’t allow it may be several weeks before another day is available.

Session Fees - Session Fees are due in full before the start of your scheduled session in cash. Once a session fee is paid in full it cannot be refunded. If you need to reschedule for emergency reasons, we will apply your credit to your future session.

Turn Around Time - Portrait Sessions are subject to a 7-10 day edit turnaround time once you make your selections from an online gallery. Wedding turnaround time is subject to 7-10 weeks from the date of the wedding. 

Substitute Photographer - Photographer may substitute another photographer to take the photographs pursuant to this agreement in the event of the photographer’s illness or other emergency. In the event of such substitution, the photographer warrants that the photographer taking the photographs shall be a competent professional. 

Copyright - as the author of all photographs made pursuant to this agreement and as provided by law, photographer retains the copyright in and to the photographs. the parties agree that the photographs are not works made for hire in accordance with 17 u.s.c. § 101, and that photographer retains those exclusive rights in the photographs provided by 17 u.s.c. § 106, including the rights to reproduce the copyrighted work, prepare derivative works based on the copyrighted work, distribute copies of the copyrighted work to the public, and display the work.

Travel - Travel fees apply to any shoots outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
